Entwine

Entwine is a Finnish gothic metal band, originating from Lahti. It was originally formed in 1995 as a death metal band by guitarist and singer Tom Mikkola, drummer Aki Hanttu, and bassist Teppo Taipale. In 1997, they decided to change the musical style to gothic metal and gothic rock. Entwine's first album, entitled Treasures Within Hearts, was released in September 1999. In December 1997, Entwine recorded its first demo, called Divine Infinity. In February 1998, singer and keyboardist Riitta Heikkonen joined the band. Entwine's first album, entitled Treasures Within Hearts, was released in September 1999. In April 2000, Willman and Taipale left the band, and the latter was replaced by Joni Miettinen. Singer Mika Tauriainen joined the band the following month.
