Feuerschwanz

Feuerschwanz is a German folk metal band formed in 2004 in the Erlangen area, near Nuremberg in Bavaria. Originally, their music fell within the medieval rock or folk rock genre, then evolved significantly toward folk metal starting with their eighth album, Methämmer, during 2018. Mainly known in the German-speaking world throughout its career, the band has turned toward the international scene since the 2020s. On May 15, 2004, the band made its debut at the Omega club in Erlangen. However, the musicians did not identify with the humorous concept and quickly left the band, leaving only the initial trio.
