The Rocker

A band called Vesuvius gets noticed at one of their concerts by a producer who offers them a contract, but on the condition that they replace their drummer, named Fish, with another drummer, a daddy's boy. The band accepts and Fish is left out in the cold, while his former band becomes one of the most famous rock bands around. 20 years later, having been fired from his job and kicked out of his girlfriend's apartment, he seeks refuge at his sister's place. His nephew asks him if he wants to play with his band, ADD, at his high school prom, because their drummer got expelled from that same school. From there, they live through many hilarious adventures and end up at the top, even surpassing Vesuvius.
