The singer of Rigor Mortis and Warbeast, Bruce Corbitt, passed away at the age of 56 after a battle against esophageal cancer. Corbitt had received the diagnosis in 2017, but a potential recovery had been announced. Corbitt therefore returned to the stage in 2018. However, he was subsequently informed that his cancer had progressed to stage 4 and that he was now terminally ill. The singer had been placed in palliative care earlier in January.
