Former Lillian Axe and Stiff guitarist Jon Ster has died at the age of 52, it has been announced. He was pronounced dead at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas from heart failure earlier this week. Ster was a member of Stiff before joining Lillian Axe for their self-titled debut album in 1988. He went on to play on Love + War in 1989, Poetic Justice in 1992 and Psychoschizophrenia in 1993.
