On 13 January, a piece of news posted on the band's site announced the admission in critical condition of the guitarist to the hospital in San Antonio due to complications related to the Crohn's disease that afflicts Mark REALE (it is an inflammatory disease of the digestive system, characterized by abdominal pain, diarrhea... The disease lasts a lifetime, punctuated by flare-up periods. On 16 June, the rest of the band announced that, at the request of Mark's family, Riot would be aboard the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise ship.
