Tristessa

It is with deep sadness that we have just learned of the death of Maria Kolokouri (a.k.a Tristessa), frontwoman of the all-female Hellenic Black Metal band Astarte. The cause of her death is linked to complications during her battle against leukaemia. The band is putting an end to all its activities and announces that the funeral will take place tomorrow. She leaves behind a husband and a son.
