Abraxas, a power metal band from southern Germany, was founded at the end of 1985 by Jan Müller (bassist) and Heiko Burst (drummer). After several concerts, the band had a certain success with the release of their demo, "Vampire", which was recorded in early 1988. Joachim Hittinger (singer) and Oliver Mindner (guitarist) joined the band and they recorded the demo "Shattered By A Terrible Prediction" in 1989. Abraxas means "Revelation". A band that should be loved by fans of Gamma Ray, Stratovarius, Helloween, etc.
