Absurd

Swiss band formed in 1990 in Bern, Ronny Gerber on drums, Raphael Schneider on guitar, Philipp Gerber on guitar, Patrick Arn on vocals, Jean Claude Wirth on bass and Patrick Schaad on keyboards. The band released a first demo in 1993 ("Die Vollendete"). Their one and only album "Shadow" came out in 1996. Their one-year career would go completely unnoticed. The vocalist talks about it a little: "Following a creative slump, the band risked breaking up at the start of 1995, but with new motivation and a new style, we gave our hobby a new chance - successfully! Due to an unexpected twist of fate, the future of Absurd was sealed overnight!"
