Ace Frehley

Dissatisfied with the direction Kiss took in the late 1970s, Ace Frehley left the band in 1982. Two years later, he signed a contract with the label Megaforce Records and put together a band called "Frehley's Comet" with singer Richie Scarlet, bassist John Regan and drummer Anton Fig. Scarlet was quickly replaced by Tod Howarth, and a first album, Frehley's Comet, was released in 1987. In February 1988 came the EP Live+1, recorded in concert. For the band's second album, Second Sighting, drummer Anton Fig, tied up by his obligations to the television show Late Night with David Letterman, was replaced by Jamie Oldaker. Frehley eventually gave up the idea of a band.
