Agathodaimon

The band begins in September 1995 when guitarist Sathonys and percussionist Matthias decide to form a death metal band with harmonious arrangements (Melodic Death). To find musicians, they place several ads in specialized magazines. Two people respond: bassist Marko Thomas and keyboardist and singer Vlad Dracul. The last member of the line-up would be the second guitarist, Hyperion, who joins them at the end of the year. Under this line-up, the band records the demo Carpe Noctem, which receives good reviews from the specialized German press. The demo attracts the attention of the executives of the label Century Media Records, who keep an eye on the band.
