Airbourne

The band was formed in 2003 by brothers Joel and Ryan O'Keeffe. Joel received his first guitar at the age of 11, while at the same age Ryan was banging on his first drum kit. Joel met David Roads while the two were both working at a hotel in Warrnambool, Australia. They each began bringing their guitars to work, jamming and working on song ideas during their breaks. Bassist Justin Street completed the band in 2003, after Ryan bumped into him while coming home drunk from a party. The four members moved to Melbourne, and Airbourne was born.
