Alkemyst

Alkemyst (ex-Endless) is a French Power Metal band formed in 1999 in Annecy, Rhône-Alpes. The band released two demos from 1999 to 2002 before recording its first album, Meeting In The Myst, in 2003. The album was followed by Through Painful Lanes in 2008. Alkemyst is the only Savoyard band that had the chance to be signed by NUCLEAR BLAST, the unavoidable metal label that is undoubtedly the biggest in the world in its style. That says a lot about the level and potential of these four Haute-Savoie natives, whose melodic speed metal, while respecting the conventions of the style, allows itself a few bold departures from the beaten track.
