Altar of the King

Altar of the King is a relatively unknown melodic thrash metal band from California, a place known for many thrash classics but mostly playing a different style of thrash. Altar of the King has a self-titled first album that is, to my knowledge, largely unknown. It's a good banger with plenty of melodic thrash licks and intense riffs. The overall sound is a melodic thrash in the vein of more progressive heavyweights like Heathen, Flotsam and Jetsam, or especially like Toxik.
