Ambush

Ambush was founded in 2013 by Oskar Jacobsson (vocals), Adam Hagelin (guitar), Oloof Engkvist (guitar), Ludwig Sjöhölm (bass) and Linus Fritzson (drums). The band recorded the demo tape in the first year. With this, they received a recording contract with the German independent label High Roller Records, where they released the single Natural Born Killers in 2014, then the first album Firestorm. The successor Desecrator appeared barely a year later. The band then went on an intensive tour. In 2017, bassist Ludwig Sjöhölm had to end his career as a live guitarist for health reasons after the tour in Brazil. He remained in the band and was replaced by Burning Fire for live performances. Its third album Infidel was released in 2020.
