Am I Blood

Am I Blood, formerly named St. Mucus, is a thrash metal band from Kerava, Finland. The band was formed in 1992, and the future frontman of Amorphis, Pasi Koskinen, was originally the band's singer. They parted ways with Koskinen in 1995, just one month before recording the first album Natural Mutation under the name St. Mucus. The band is well known for having been confused with the heavy metal band Metallica, which no doubt has a strong influence on the band's music. The band began recording its fifth album, Existence of Trauma, with a new guitarist and drummer in mid-2008. It was revealed on the band's official MySpace blog that songwriter and lead singer Janne Kerminen had begun writing material for the album in early 2007.
