Analepsy

Analepsy is a Portuguese brutal death metal band based in Lisbon, Portugal. Their sound is described as a cross between old-school brutal death metal and modern melodic elements. The band was formed in late 2013 by former singer Ricardo Proença and guitarist Marco Martins. They met through a mutual friend after a Disgorge (USA) concert in Lisbon. Ricardo was looking to form a new band and Marco was at the time the guitarist of the brutal death/grindcore band Brutal Brain Damage. Flávio Pereira was also present at this concert and joined him shortly afterwards.
