Andy Taylor

After six years as a member of Duran Duran, Taylor realized that he and the band were in free fall. He and the other members of the band rarely spoke to each other and the band now lived on three different continents. Taylor himself was based in Los Angeles, where he met Steve Jones, former guitarist of the Sex Pistols, and they began collaborating for Taylor's next solo album. In the meantime, he recorded the single "Take It Easy", which served as the theme for the film American Anthem. Terry Bozzio and Patrick O'Hearn, members of Missing Persons, respectively played drums and bass on the song. Two other Taylor / Jones songs also appeared on the album: "Wings of Love" and the instrumental "Angel Eyes".
