Anette Olzon

Anette Olzon was born on June 21, 1971 in Katrineholm, Sweden. She began by playing the oboe during her childhood; she frequently went on trips with her mother and took numerous singing courses. From the age of 13, she took part in several televised music competitions. Then, she began to study music at the Copenhagen music conservatory in Denmark. Anette joined the band Take Cover, a cover band, at 17. At 21, she landed the lead role in a rock opera named Gränsland. She also sang a duet with Michael Bormann (former singer of Jaded Heart) on his album Conspiracy.
