WebsiteArchspire is a Canadian technical death metal band, originally from Vancouver, British Columbia. The band was formed in 2007 under the name Defenestrated. After several name changes, the band became Archspire in 2009. The band released its first album, All Shall Align, in 2011. The album was recorded at The Hive Studios in Vancouver under the guidance of producer Stuart McKillop. The same year, the band performed live in Essen alongside, among others, Decapitated, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Aborted and Cyanide Serenity. In March 2013, the band signed with the French label Season of Mist. The band released its second album, The Lucid Collective, in April 2014 on the Season of Mist label.
