Arkhan

Arkhan was created at the end of 2001 by Seb (bass - former singer-bassist of the thrash-metal band Feel My Hate), Greg (vocals) and Chris (guitar). These 3 musicians had previously been part, for a few years, of the Lausanne black metal band IPSUM. But despite the good reviews of IPSUM's first album and the many concerts that followed its release, musical and personal differences led the band to split in two. Greg, Seb and Chris immediately started a new project focused on a mix of black and death metal. They were quickly joined by a young guitarist of American origin and together they began to compose new songs. In 2002 the guitarist returned to his country of origin and Arkhan was on the verge of being a stillborn project. In 2002, they found a rehearsal space in Monthey (VS).
