Astarte

In 1995, Tristessa, Nemesis and Kinthia initially formed an exclusively female metal band, Lloth. Two years later they released a first demo: "Dancing In the Dark Lakes Of Evil", which stands out for aggressive, fast riffs with a death metal side while keeping a doom atmosphere. They then decided to change their name to Astarte, and a year later released a first album, Doomed Dark Years, with an extreme black metal feel, and signed with the label Black Lotus Records. The band began to establish itself within Europe and in 2000 released a second opus, "Rise From Within", whose music is much more complex and whose main theme is dedicated to the dark and esoteric side of black metal.
