Astralion

When drummer Tom Wallen and singer Ian E. Highhill were sitting in a pub in southern Finland enjoying a beer in 2011, they were talking about music and the songs they had exchanged with each other. It soon became obvious that a band would be the ideal outlet for their creativity. The two musicians had stayed in touch after a band project that had fallen through. Eventually, bassist Dr. K. Lundell and keyboardist Thomas Henry, who along with Ian were involved in another band project that had just broken up, joined the band. Now that the first lineup was established, the musical visions were set in stone and they decided on the band name Astralion.
