Attomica

The band was founded in October 1985 by guitarist João Paulo Francis and drummer Mário Sanefuji. Shortly after, singer Laerte Perr and the brothers Pyda (electric guitar) and André Rod (bass) joined and completed the lineup. The first appearances followed, as well as a first demo in 1986, followed by the self-titled debut album on Equinox Discos in 1987. The release was followed by a tour of Brazil, after which singer Perr left the band and was replaced by Fabio Moreira. The second album Limits of Insanity was released in 1989 via Cogumelo Records. By that time, Moreira had already left the band, which is why bassist Rod also took over vocals on the album.
