Bad Habit

American guitarist and composer Hal Marabel formed this Swedish band in 1986 with his former member Doc Pat Shannon. The idea was to create music blending hard rock and melodies drawn from their two musical backgrounds. Their influences were bands like Journey, Toto, Van Halen and Boston, but also other musical genres such as blues and classical music. The next musician to join the band was Patrik Södergren (then called Stevie Rose), followed by Bax Fehling and original drummer Jan Andersson. Jan was replaced by Jaime Salazar shortly after the release of the first mini-album «Young & Innocent» in 1987, released on CBS (now SONY).
