Beast in Black

The band was formed in 2015 by guitarist Anton Kabanen, following his forced departure from Battle Beast due to musical differences. At the end of 2015, the band played its first concert as the opening act for Nightwish. During the summer of 2017, the writing of their first album was completed, resulting in a contract signed with the record company Nuclear Blast. The band released its first album, Berserker, on 3 November 2017. A first single, "Beast in Black", was unveiled on 14 October and is directly inspired by the manga Berserk. Following the album's release, they opened for WASP during the months of October and November 2017. On 7 February 2018, the band announced on its Facebook page the departure of its drummer Sami Hänninen. He was replaced by Atte Palokangas.
