Before the Dawn

Before the Dawn is the name of a Finnish melodic death band formed in 1999 by multi-instrumentalist Tuomas Saukkonen. Signed to Nuclear Blast, the band has to its credit 7 albums, a demo, a split CD and an MCD/DVD. This band is one of the many that Tuomas Saukkonen is part of; he is also part of Bonegrinder (Death Metal), Dawn Of Solace (Gothic Doom), The Final Harvest (Death Metal), Black Sun Aeon (Gothic Death). In early 2013, Saukkonen announced that he was dissolving all the bands he was part of in order to create a single, unique one: Wolfheart.
