Bewitched

The band was founded in 1995. That same year, they recorded the demo Hellspell and thus obtained a contract with Osmose Productions. The first album Diabolical Desecration was recorded the same year and released the following year. This was followed by a tour in Europe in 1996 with Ancient Rites, Sacramentum and Enthroned. The EP Encyclopedia of Evil was also released the same year. The second album Pentagram Prayer followed in 1997. Guitarist Blackheim also left the band. Another tour followed with Enslaved, Dark Tranquility, Swordmaster, Demoniac and Dellamorte. This was followed by the recording of the live album Hell Comes to Essen, released the following year. In 1998, the band also played at Dynamo Open Air.
