Blackbraid

BlackBraid, a Native American Black Metal project, is the vessel of a new artist from the wilderness of the Adirondacks, a mountain range in the northeast of New York State. BlackBraid describes itself as "an indigenous black metal solo project from the depths of the Adirondack wilderness, creating music as raw and powerful as the mountains from which it comes...". The project released its first album, Blackbraid I, on August 26, 2022. Upon its release, the album received a large amount of positive reviews in black metal listening circles, some describing the work as "a flawless departure" or even their "album of the year".
