Band formed in 1991 in Treviso, Italy, in a very Dream Theater register, the band released three albums from 1991 to 1997. The band split in 1997 and some of its members founded Moonlight Circus in 1998. Two albums would see the light of day with this new formation. Black Jester certainly honours the great Italian occult-prog heritage in its own unique musical way! Not really easy to categorize, Black Jester are a must for all fans of a less heavy, more neoclassical progressive sound. An unknown treasure!
