Black Messiah

Black Messiah was formed in 1992, and initially played black metal in the vein of bands such as Bathory, Celtic Frost, Possessed or Venom, from whom the members draw inspiration. In 1995, the band released its first demo tape, Southside Golgotha. In 1996, the band changed musical direction with new tracks featuring classical and folk influences, in the pagan metal style. In 1998, they released their first studio album, Sceptre of Black Knowledge, on the Last Episode label. It contains traditional black metal songs such as Sceptre of Black Knowledge, Pagan Winter and Diabolic Rites.
