Boston

Boston is an American rock band, originally from Boston, Massachusetts. It was formed in 1976 by Tom Scholz with singer Brad Delp. Boston's first album, titled Boston, released in 1976 and recorded in Tom Scholz's personal studio by himself and Brad Delp, is among the ten best-selling albums in the United States with 17 million copies sold. This success is due on the one hand to the quality of the compositions. The guitar riff of the track More than a feeling thus inspired the band Nirvana for their biggest hit Smells Like Teen Spirit (Kurt Cobain, leader of the band Nirvana, had been a fan of Boston during his adolescence). Boston's success is also due to the sound and the arrangements, very ahead of their time, without of course forgetting the exceptional voice of Brad Delp, nicknamed "The man with the golden voice."
