Callejon

Callejon (pronounced like the Spanish word) is a German metalcore band whose members come from Düsseldorf, Ratingen and Cologne. Callejon was founded in 2002. The following year, they released a demo. The Chronos EP came out in February, followed by the first album Willkommen im Beerdigungscafé on 7 July 2006. In September 2007, a contract was signed with Edition TAKK. Thomas Buschhausen and Thorsten Becker rounded out the band in late 2007. A winter tour was held around the EP Fauler Zauber Dunkelherz. In May 2008, the band signed with Nuclear Blast. The album Zombieactionhauptquartier was released on 28 November 2008. The zombie theme gave the music style the name "zombiecore".
