Capricorn

The band was formed in 1991 after the dissolution of the band Grinder. Grinder had split up nine months earlier because the band had lost its recording contract and the members disagreed about the band's future. Capricorn's line-up consisted of Grinder members Adrian Hahn on bass and vocals, guitarist David Hofmann and drummer Stefan Arnold. Although all the members had been in the same band, they decided not to revive Grinder and to start over under the name Capricorn, as they considered themselves very far removed from Grinder both conceptually and stylistically.
