Carpe Tenebrum

Carpe Tenebrum (incorrectly, "Seize the Darkness" in Latin) was a black metal solo project by former Dimmu Borgir and Covenant guitarist Jamie Stinson, better known as Astennu. Stian Arnesen (Nagash) also took part in the project. Very little has been heard about the project since the release of the third album, Dreaded Chaotic Reign, in 2002. Conceived in the arid deserts of Australia and recorded across the world in Norway, Carpe Tenebrum's first album, "Majestic Nothingness", is undoubtedly a forgotten gem of 1990s black metal.
