It was in early 2008 that Michaël Dervey (drums), Julian Gomez (vocals) and Alex Hiltmann (lead guitar) began playing music together in a small room deep in the countryside of the Chablais region. They were quickly joined by Nathanael Segui (bass) and together they played a mix of saturated Metal accompanied by melodies of folk inspiration. Throughout that year the band composed its first tracks, sometimes epic, telling of great battles and victorious heroes, sometimes dark, depicting the misery and the brutally realistic horrors of the Middle Ages.
