Centaur is a German Power Metal band, founded in 1989 in Krefeld. Centaur's first album, Mob Rules the World, was released in 1990 by No Remorse Records, which had released Blind Guardian's first album two years earlier and which in the meantime had, among others, Heavens Gate, Grinder and Pyracanda under contract as well. It later joined Liga Records, where two more studio albums and a live recording were released. In 1998, B.O. Records, a sublabel of Last Episode, which at times included, among others, Wizard and Tyrant Eyes under contract, released their fourth album God Complex.
