Cheap Trick

Cheap Trick is an American rock band formed in 1973 in Rockford, Illinois. It enjoyed significant success in the late 1970s, particularly in Japan, and achieved its greatest success with the live album Cheap Trick at Budokan in 1979. It is often described musically as a blend of Beatles-influenced pop melodies and hard rock guitars. It is officially still active in 2008 (tour beginning in June 2008).
