The German metal band Chroming Rose was formed in 1985. A few line-up changes followed before the release of their first album, "Louis The XIV", on the IEM Records label in 1990. During that year, they supported Pink Cream 69 and Udo on tour and, in the following years, they opened for Saxon on their German tour. In 1992, they did their first own tour in Japan, before another German tour with the Swedish band Treat. In 1993, they toured in Germany with Brazilian Viper as support. The first two albums were produced by Tommy Hansen, who also produced Helloween, and the third was worked on by Flemming Rasmussen, who is most famous for his work with Metallica. The band probably split up and disappeared somewhere between the years 2000 and 2002.
