ChthoniC

Chthonic (ChthoniC or ChThoniC) is a symphonic black band originating from Taipei in Taiwan. Currently signed to Spinefarm Records, this band has released 7 studio albums, two compilations, a live album, a DVD as well as 7 singles. Chthonic is one of the main bands representing the Asian metal scene and possessing at the same time an international reputation; they have notably toured several times in Europe and the United States (notably alongside Arch Enemy). The band is recognized for its ability to incorporate numerous traditional Asian instruments into their compositions (such as the Erhu or the Sitar).
