Chuck Schuldiner

Charles Michael "Chuck" Schuldiner was guitarist, singer and composer of the band Death and guitarist/composer of the band Control Denied. Chuck was born on May 13, 1967 and died on December 13, 2001 of a brain tumor that he could not have operated on for lack of money. He is a pioneer of the musical genre of the same name, Death metal, directly derived from Thrash metal, itself derived from Heavy metal. He is also considered a great metal composer whose body of work is broad and deep. He is an emblematic figure of metal.
