Civil War

Civil War is a Swedish Heavy Metal band, formed in 2012 in Falun, Dalarna. Three of its members are the founding members of Sabaton. In 2012, shortly before the release of the album Carolus Rex, the band Sabaton split and 4 of its members decided to abruptly leave the band to found their own. Thus Civil War was born. In an interview on May 7, 2014, Joakim Broden, singer of Sabaton, explains the reasons for this split. It would seem that, in addition to internal tensions within the band, the band split because of the band's too-frequent touring. This would be why four of its members left the band to create Civil War.
