Coït was formed in April 2002 by arno, schnidre and jo (ex-Malignancy). In early 2003, the band was ready and then honed itself on the regional scene before releasing, in early 2004, a 4-track demo CD. Coït spent a week in the studio in July 2005 to record the album "Brutal Fantasy", which came out in January 2006. In December 2005, the band went on tour in France and Spain with Zeppo. Since then, Coït has continued to perform in Swiss and French clubs and went on a mini French tour with Yog in April 2008. In August 2008 the band welcomed masson as its new drummer. The new album "Between the lines" came out in September 2008, followed by about a dozen concerts during the autumn.
