Corrosion of Conformity

Corrosion of Conformity (COC) is an American sludge metal band, originating from Raleigh, North Carolina. For almost the entirety of its existence, the band consists of guitarist Woody Weatherman, bassist Mike Dean (who left the band in 1987, but returned six years later), drummer Reed Mullin (who left the band in 2001 but returned nine years later) and singer and guitarist Pepper Keenan (who joined the band in 1989). After a period of inactivity since 2006, Corrosion of Conformity returned to the stage in 2010, without Keenan, who was at that time a member of the band Down.
