Crashdïet

Crashdïet is a Swedish glam metal band. The band has already released 4 albums, Rest in Sleaze released in 2005, The Unattractive Revolution released in 2007, Generation Wild released in 2010, and The Savage Playground released in 2013. The band formed in Stockholm in 2000. With influences such as Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Skid Row and Hanoi Rocks, Crashdïet quickly caused a sensation thanks to the release of their first demos, made available for free download on their website. In 2002, the band split up but singer Dave Lepard reformed the band with the members of the current line up. In 2005, the band released its first album, Rest in Sleaze. On 20 January 2006, singer Dave Lepard (only 25 years old) took his own life after suffering from depression. After the death of their singer, the band made this announcement on their official website.
