Crisix

Initially named Crysys, the band was created in February 2008 by Marc Torras and Javi Carrión, who had already played together in the band Shadon. They completed their line-up with other members of local bands: Marc Busqué from the band Helltears, Albert Requena from the band Face and Julián Baz from Bourbon Society. After winning the Martohell Metal Rumble 2008 contest, the band recorded a first single Dead by the fistful of violence which appeared on the compilation Spain Kills1. The demo Demonsthrashion, recorded at Akord's Studio, followed shortly after. It allowed the band to take part in the W:O:A Metal Battle Spain 2009 contest, where it would win the international final in Germany.
