Cro‐Mags

Cro-Mags is a hardcore band from New York. This style emerged with the album "The Age of Quarrel", and influenced many bands of the same style (Biohazard, Vision of Disorder, etc.). Although the band has gone through an endless number of line ups (which is probably one of the main reasons for the band's problems), it continues to record and tour with different line ups. It is in New York that we find one of the band's founding members, bassist Harley Flanagan, who in 1977 at the age of ten started his first punk band during a European trip. Before his return to NYC, Flanagan was a drummer in a local Washington band, "the Stimulators", alongside Bad Brains. The early 1980s saw the real beginnings of Cro-Mags, with a very different line-up.
