Crossfire

Crossfire is a Belgian Heavy Metal band, formed in 1981. The members first worked as a punk band under the name The Onion Dolls, founded in 1980 with Peter de Windt handling vocals and drums. Due to the influence of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, they founded the heavy metal band Crossfire in 1981, consisting of singer and guitarist Nero Neerinckx, guitarist Marc van Caelenberge, bassist Patrick "The Beast" van Londerzele (ex-Warhead) and drummer Peter de Windt. The band can be heard for the first time in 1982 on the sampler Aardschok Metal Clogs with two songs. The recording was released via Rave-On Records. Neerinckx then left the band and was later convicted of the murder of a police officer.
