Dark Age

Dark Age is a melodic death band from Germany (from Hamburg) founded in 1995. In 1994, Eike Freese, André Schumann and Oliver Fliegel founded a death metal band: "Dyer's Eve". In 1995, they renamed the band "Dark Age", the title of a Vader song. During the autumn of 1995, the band released its first demo Doubtful Existence. In December 1995, keyboardist Martin Reichert joined them and in January 1996 they released a new demo. Although they were not on good terms with production companies, they managed to release it (100 copies). Just after the recordings, Finn Dierks joined the band as second guitarist. Dark Age parted ways with Oliver Fliegel for reasons of musical differences.
