The band, formed in 1993, produced 3 full albums before a line-up overhaul that saw three of its members leave the band to found Dreamaker. The two remaining members carried on under the same name, recruiting suitable replacements in time for their self-titled 2003 album. The band Dark Moor formed in 1993 in Madrid, and its members recorded their first album "Shadowland" during the summer of 1999. Dark Moor performed it live as the opening act on Demons & Wizards' tour in Spain.
